John J. Fontes Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Fontes Jr. of Johnston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores B. Fontes (Ottiano); and his parents, John J. Fontes, Sr. and Phoebe Fontes (Mosca). He is survived by: his children, Sandra Verdecchia (Steven) of Johnston and Joseph Pupella (Gina) of Warwick; his grandchildren, Kristin, Kerri Verdecchia, Joli Pinental and Joseph J. Pupella; and his sister Rosemarie Peters of Riverside. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
