He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Kitts and Ethel Kitts (Dittlebach); his son William F. Kitts; and his stepsibling Henry Claytor. He is survived by: his significant other Judith "Judy" Hareld; his children, Sara Beth Kitts and Daniel S. Kitts; his grandchildren, Aiden and Gabriel; and his sibling Ethel Botelho.
