He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia B. Nicholas (Simas); his children, Josey, Sherri and Andy; his parents, Kenneth Leroy Nicholas and Albina Alice Nicholas (Benn); his siblings, Valerie, David, Carol, Kathy, Teddy, Patti and Raima; his goddaughter Joanna; and his great-nephew Derrick.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, burial will be private at the RI Veterans Cemetery where he will receive full military honors.
