He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Godena and Theresa Godena; and his brother Joseph A. Godena, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Godena (Vietri); his children, Denise A. Jennings (William) of Jamestown and James R. Godena, II (Pat Levesque Vaillancourt) of Fall River, MA; and his grandchildren, Danielle Jennings, Nicholas Godena and Benjamen Jennings.
