She was predeceased by: her husband James G. Pemantell; her parents, Leo Gracik and Florence Gracik (Savokas); and her brothers, Leo and Joseph Gracik.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Elizabeth Titmas (John) and James L. Pemantell (Jennifer); her sister Nancy Simons; and her grandchildren, Brigitte Desvaux, Marcel Desvaux and Lucien Pemantell.
