With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joseph Arruda Jr. (Hopkinton, Rhode Island), whose life came to an end on January 27, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arruda and Janice Arruda (Manchester); and his sister Joyce Vacca (Arruda). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine "Lauri" Arruda (Tarket); his sons, Joseph III Arruda (Patricia) of Westerly and John Arruda (Eraina) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Allison, Kyle, Ryan Arruda of Westerly, Alexander and Mia Arruda of Coventry; his siblings, Judith Pont of Westerly, Jerald Arruda of Missouri, Jane Andre of Charleston, SC and James Arruda (Lisa) of Yanceyville, NC; and his pets, Gracie and Kate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the S. R. Avery Funeral Home (3a Bank St, Hope Valley, RI 02832). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
