She was predeceased by: her parents, Erving and LeMay (Carpenter) of Arizona; her husband Eugene "Gene" Hauger; and her sisters, Methyl Kinnear and Velma Scherr.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kay Rhodes of Rhode Island and Leonard Hauger (Marybeth) of Columbus. She is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
