He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Sue James (Renken); his parents, Benjamin A. James and Minnie Alice James (Cooper); and his brother Joseph James. He is survived by: his sons, William E. James, Jr. and Christopher A. James of Richmond, RI.; his brother Robert James; and his grandchildren, Matthew N. James and Rebecca L. James. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
