She was predeceased by: her parents, Normand Houle and Rena Houle (Therrien) of Mystic, CT.; her daughter Aimee Bessette-Holt (Ronald); and her close friend William Cormier of Hope Valley, RI.. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bessette (Erica), Adam Brown (Terry) and Arielle Hall (Shane); her stepsons, Kyle Brown and Brian Brown (Lanova); and her brothers, Glenn Houle, Normand Houle and Joseph Silva. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
