He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene West and Ethel West (Binns); his wife Barbara West (Dorrington); his daughter-in-law Carolyn West; his grandson William H. West; his brothers, Robert West and George; and his sister-in-law Mary West.
He is survived by: his children, Harold West Jr. (Carole) of Preston, Lawrence West of Westerly, R. I., Cathy LaFountain (William) of Rockville, R. I., Lois Reynolds (David) of Carolina, R. I. and Debbie Hull (David); his grandchildren, Harold West III (Brittney), Angela Burns (Jesse), Larry West (Rebekah), Jim Medeiros, Tracy Pion (Scott), Michelle Emond, Sandi Scott (Jeff), Melissa Page (Matt), LeeAnne Colahan (Bryan), Ryan Hull (Kerrie) and Brandi Hull (Mike Hurd); his brother Donald West (Lisa); and his sister-in-law Maria West. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Hope Valley.
