It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Wayne Denton (Hope Valley, Rhode Island), born in Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Denton and Cecelia L. Denton (Parenty); and his sister Carol Lopes. He is survived by: his wife Cathy R. Denton (Burdick); his daughters, Christal M. Marchetti (James) of Hopkinton, RI and Stacey J. Sherman (Frederick) of Richmond, RI; his grandchildren, Jasmine Skalin, Noah, Stephanie, Matthew Sherman, Jamie, Jonathan and Jimmy Marchetti; and his siblings, Richard Denton, Jr. of Florida, Debra Rankin of Idaho and Katherine Allen. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
