He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Wightman and Harriett Wightman (Crandall); and his brothers, George E. Wightman Jr. and William Wightman. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Wightman (Rudgers); and his sons, Ernest R. Wightman (Dana), Gregory Wightman and Mark Wightman (Yvette).
