She was predeceased by: her parents, Abial Sherman and Richie Sherman; her husband Harry M. Edwards Sr.; her siblings, Abial Jr. and Marion; her son Calbert Edwards Sr.; and her grandson Calbert Jr..
She is survived by: her close friend Beverly Almeida; her son Harry Edwards Jr. (Mildred); her grandchildren, Harry III and Heather; and her great grandchildren, Justin and Colton. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and of course all the children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Cora's favorite charity; The Shriners Hospital for Children that helped her granddaughter get a prosthetic arm as a child.
