It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Sweeney of Harrisville, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Kenny Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kerry Benoit, Nick and Bryan Sweeney; her grandchildren, Cody, Isabella, Madisyn and Brody; and her siblings, Michael Smith and Melissa Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley can be made to the American Lung Association.
