He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Brunelle and Lillian Brunelle (Dubois); his siblings, Arthur, Lucien, Armand, Roger Brunelle and Theresa Plouffe; his grandson Roland "Bud" Hedquist, Jr.; and his great grandchild Lucas A. Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Elvie Brunelle (Hale); his children, Vonda Roberts (Donald Sr.) of Danielson, CT, Robert Brunelle, Jr. (Sheila) of Harrisville, Troy Brunelle, Sr. (Sharon) of Thompson, CT, Jodi Brunelle (Michael O'Neill) of Woonsocket, Lee-Ann Hedquist (Roland Sr.) of North Smithfield, David Brunelle (Antonio Pontes) of Sackets Harbor, NY and Danielle Douglas (Joshua) of Woonsocket; and his grandson John D. "Little John" Oullette. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
