He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter R. Scorpio and Sarah Scorpio; his child Peter R. Scorpio, III; his grandchild Jason Scorpio; and his sibling Gloria Pesaturo.
He is survived by: his children, Jo-Ann Scorpio Carlton, Lori A. Scorpio and Michael W. Scorpio; and his grandchildren, James Carlton, Jr., Jennifer DeSousa, Krysta Scorpio and Daniel Scorpio. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
