We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2020, at the age of 88, Robert P. Destefanis of Greenville, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise E. DeStefanis (DiPaolo); his parents, Antonio DeStefanis and Mary DeStefanis (DeStefanis); his brother Gus DeStefanis; and his brother-in-law Joe Dipaolo (Fannie).
He is survived by: his children, Lynn M. Gerlach (Kyle) of Greenville and Lesley DeStefanis Glaude (Michael Gagner) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Alexandria Cassidy (Kyle), Kimberly Gerlach (Matt Dellacroce) and Kyle Thomas Gerlach, Jr.; his great grandchild Florence May Cassidy; his siblings, Anthony DeStefanis (Angela) of Smithfield, Ronda Faella (Richard) of Cranston, Raymond DeStefanis (Iris), Tina Ciano, Marietta Verrengia, Camille Tella and Ilda Pensalfini (Raymond); and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Dauphin (Fred), Helen Bielawski (Joe), Mary Hopkins (John) and Bennie Dipaolo (Jessie). He is also survived by his daughters, his son in law, and his grandchildren.
