He was predeceased by: his wife Judith I. Anderson-Fitzpatrick; his parents, Harold Fitzpatrick and Isabel Fitzpatrick (Fox); and his siblings, Joan Kenyon and Harold Fitzpatrick Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Eileen Turnbull-Barber (John), Kerry Cartier (Gregg) and Robert Fitzpatrick Jr. (Barbara); his grandchildren, Bruce Turnbull (Samantha), Cayla Cartier and Tara Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, William, Jonathan, Reese and Brody; and his sisters, Patricia Paiva (Joe) and Judith Scott.
