She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Burns and Elizabeth Burns (Connefy). She is survived by: her husband John Simkevich; her children, MaryElizabeth and Sarah Simkevich; and her siblings, Sharon Carey, Thomas Burns and Michael Burns. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
