She was predeceased by: her husband Robert C. Vale; her parents, William Babcock and Grace Babcock (McLaren); her daughter Virginia "Ginny" McDonald; her brother Robert Babcock; and her stepmother Florence Babcock (Vale).
She is survived by: her children, William Vale (Joanne) of Warwick, Richard "Ricky" Vale of North Scituate and Kristen Adams (Timothy) of Greenville; her sister Virginia Adams of Pensacola, FL.; her sons-in-law, Michael McDonald of West Warwick and David Scopelliti; her daughter Catherine Scopelliti; and her sister Mary Babcock. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
