We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 92, Herbert F. Shurtleff Jr. in Greenville, Rhode Island passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert F. Shurtleff Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Herbert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alberta C. Shurtleff (Rocchio); his parents, Herbert F. Shurtleff and Aline Shurtleff (Couturier); and his siblings, Leo, Clinton Shurtleff and Aline Brouillard.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Shurtleff (Jill) and Michael Shurtleff (Anne); and his sister Jeanne Gill. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (249 Danielson Pike, Scituate, RI 02857).
