He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Tessier and Doris Tessier (Desrochers); and his siblings, Claire Tessier and Robert Tessier. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Tessier (Sheers); his children, Russell Tessier (Catherine Plum) of Amherst, MA and Cheril Smith (Gerald) of Smithfield; his granddaughter Allison Tessier; and his siblings, Edmond Tessier and Louise Borges.

George was an electrician for Parkinson Manufacturing of Esmond for 20 years, retiring in 2005.
