He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eliason and Helen Eliason (Melarky); and his siblings, Arthur Eliason, John Eliason, Norman Eliason, Mary Murphy and Ann Youngs.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Eliason (Decotis); his children, Deborah Torchia (Richard), Susan Vieira (Matthew) and Matthew Eliason (Morgan); and his grandchildren, Justin, Cara Vieira, Cameron Eliason, Jayden and Avery Medeiros.
