He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Powers and Mary Gladys Powers (Darby); his wife Carole A. Powers (Mackisey); and his brothers, Walter J. Powers, Raymond L. Powers and James F. Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Rancic and David M. Powers, Jr. (Jody); his grandchildren, Haley Powers, Erin Powers and Matthew Rancic; and his brother Robert W. Powers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Church (622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828).
