She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Lombardi (Munroe); and her brother John "Johnny" Lombardi. She is survived by: her husband Eric P. Annunziata; her daughters, Brittany and Erica Annunziata; her children-in-law, Tristen Annunziata and Samuel Black; her close friend Bentley; her adored Maltese; her father John Lombardi; her brothers, Robert Lombardi and Scott Lombardi (Donald Morrow); and also Laurie Maisano (Robert Maisano). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to The Clearity Foundation (http://www.clearityfoundation.org); an organization that gave her solace and additional resources throughout her diagnosis.
