He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Valentina Teves (DoRego); his parents, Jose Teves and Virginia Teves (Medeiros); his children, Valter Teves, Jr. of California and Juliana Teves of Virginia; his stepchildren, Katelyn Sosa Diaz of Cranston, Marco Costa, Jr. of Chepachet and Nicholas Costa of Chepachet; and his siblings, Anibal Teves of East Providence, Connie Moniz of East Providence, Alice Geldmaker of East Providence and Helen Costa of East Providence. He was also cherished by his five grandchildren.
