He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hirst and Annie Hirst (Ward); his son Roy Hirst; and his sister Dorothy Howard. He is survived by: his wife Luella Hirst (Krajewski); his children, Wayne Hirst of Harmony, Cynthia Farrar of Glocester and Kevin Hirst of Plainfield, CT; and his brothers, Raymond and Vincent Hirst. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
