She was predeceased by: her mother Winifred Glynn; and her grandparents, Kate and John Glynn. She is survived by: her husband Walter R. Hamill; her children, Catherine Hamill, Deborah Marcil (Jim), Mary Bierman (Victor) and Ann-Frances Hamill; her grandchildren, Michael Fournier, Ashley Bierman, Victor Bierman IV, James Marcil, Arianna Hamill and Niagara Falls; and her cousins, Ashley and Victor. She is also survived by father and dearly departed family members.
She also worked for the State of Rhode Island at Zambarano Hospital for 29 years as a compassionate CNA to Alzheimer patients.
