He is survived by: his wife Anne Niles; his daughter Sara Mitkowski (Niles); his grandchildren, Gillian, Everett, Mabel and Sadie Mitkowski; his daughter Rachel Niles; his grandchildren, David Spencer Jr., Rose Spencer and Jenna Niles; and his sisters, Patricia Chalifour and Kathryn LaRose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
