It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Candace A. Steadman of Exeter, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Gardner; and her siblings, Rhonda Cunningham, Paula House, Rochelle Hargrave and Robin Cyr.
She is survived by: her husband James Steadman; her children, Matthew Remsen (Michaela) of North Kingstown, Kristin Blanchette (Joseph) of Glenmoore, PA and Courtney Steadman of Exeter; her siblings, Mark Gardner, Roann Sulak, Danielle Cyr and Susan Gaccione; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Victoria, Olivia, Logan and Natalee; her great grandchild Leighton; and her family, Bruce and Christa Gardner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a local animal shelter or a charity of choice.
