He was predeceased by: his parents, João Faria Correia Jr. and Etelvina Correia (Sousa). He is survived by: his spouse Judite Correia (Botelho); his daughters, Grace DeVall (Frank), Paula Ferrara (Steven) of Rehoboth and Sonia Knowles (late Michael) of Riverside; his grandchildren, Andrew DeVall (Kara), Cameron DeVall (Sheena), Rachel Ferrara, Ryan Ferrara, Jillian Ferrara, Alex Knowles and Ayden Knowles; and his siblings, Zelia Branco (late João), John Correia, Liberal Correia, Norbina Fatela (Antonio), Guilhermina Messier (late Michael), Esmeralda Pereira (Tony) and Coralia Estrela (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
