He was predeceased by: his parent Ellery Preston Costa, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Leslie F. Costa (Rawlings); his wife Delores A. Costa (Sipples); his children, Steven Costa of East Providence and Hayley Costa of Providence; his grandson Nexxus Ternary Love Poole; and his brothers, Ellery P. Costa, Jr. and Keith Costa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, all his friends.
