He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Correia and Virginia Correia (Botelho); his son Peter Correia; his grandson Cyrus Correia; and his siblings, Manuel of Melo, Jose of Melo, Joao Correia, Simon Correia, Virginia Costa and Maria Correia.
He is survived by: his children, Lucy M. Melo (Joseph), Maria Renquinha, Joseph Correia (Isilda) and John Correia (Helen). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
