In the sacred silence of farewell, Rose is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rose's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fidalgo and Philomena Fidalgo (Pislowski); her sister Frances Brown; and her grandson Richard Catalano. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Lopes (Meghanne) of Foster, RI and Lisa Amaral (Jose) of East Providence; her siblings, George Fidalgo (Amanda) of Warwick and Arlene Boyd of East Providence; and her friend Rose. She is also survived by nieces, her four grandchildren, and her five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914).
A former parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, she lived her faith through her actions, embodying the virtues of compassion and charity that are the hallmarks of a life well-lived.
