She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Barbosa Ferreira and Eugénia Ramos Pinto. She is survived by: her husband Eduardo V. Fontes; her children, José Eduardo Fontes (Maria Ivone Oliveira) and Lígia Maria Fontes of East Providence; her grandchildren, Alexander Borts, Patricia Veiga, Keila Veiga, Andrew Borts, Dulce Fontes, Liana Borts, Gabriela Carson and Luca Fontes; and her siblings, Amandio Barbosa Ferrreira of Lisbon, Portugal., Dores Alvarenga, Zulmira Barbosa Ferreira, Maria Antonina Barbosa Ferreira, Odim Barbosa Ferreira and Octavio Barbosa Ferreira.
Due to the current covid-19 restrictions, her funeral will be private.
