Monteiro of East Providence, Rhode Island, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Horace Terry and Jeanette Terry (Wilson); her children, Jeffrey Edmond (Marsha) of Providence, Jeanette Monteiro of Cranston and Jason Monteiro of East Providence; her grandchildren, Jazmin, Jason (Malick), Jordon, Bunyan, Byren, Marquis and Jaylon; her great grandchildren, Michelle, Me'lan, Eli and Avi; her sister Shahidah Rasool; and her daughters, Lorraine of Buffalo, Christine (Dina), Sonya of East Providence and Wendy (Robert). She was also cherished by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
