It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paula-Jean Girard of East Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joao Rego and Dorothea Rego (Lewis); her brother Gerald Rego; and her sister-in-law Carleen Connor. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Girard; her son Shawn Mahonec of Florida; her brother John Rego, Sr. of Alaska; her siblings-in-law, Paula Levesque of Burrillville, Lori Pfiel of Attleboro, Shari Bitsis of Seekonk, MA and Arnold Fontaine of Pennsylvania; and her nephews, John, Jr. of Alaska and Mike Rego of Alaska.
