He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Ferreira Melo and Maria Araujo Melo. He is survived by : his wife Maria Emilia Melo (Moitoso); his son Eusebio (Melissa Bardon); his daughters, Guiomar (Paul Pimentel), Anabela (Charles Sydor); grandchildren Alexia (Steven Cooney), Gentry, Celina, Julianna and Tristan; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Dante; his step-granddaughters, Chloe and Isabella; his step-great-granddaughter Adrianna; his sister Mariazinha Rodrigues (late Ernesto); and his godson Ernesto. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters-in-law with his nieces and nephews.
