She was predeceased by: her significant other Henry S. Hayward; her parents, Jessie C. (Almeida) and Joseph M. Dourado Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph J. Dourado, Agnes I. Christopher (Dourado), Cecelia E. Dourado and John J. Dourado.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan L. Rutan (John) of Denton, Texas and Sheila J. Dyer (Donald) of Rehoboth; her grandchildren, Julie James (Jed) of Dighton, Patrick Hayward (Stephanie) of Cumberland, Kelsey Hayward (Angelica) of Seekonk and Megan Hayward of Seekonk; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia James and John Patrick Hayward.
They were active and on the go until Covid hit in 2020. Mary was born in East Providence and lived there her entire life.
