It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilia Maria Reis of East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Laureano and Maria Laureano (Goncalves); her husband George Reis; her children, George Reis (Cindy) of Pawtucket, Lisa Boisvert (Richard) of Hughesville, Christine Reinhagen (John) of North Attleboro and Jennifer Lee (John) of Wakefield, RI.; her grandchildren, Jakob, Hannah, Luke, Madalena, Corey, Austin, Julian, Samuel and Charles; and her great grandchildren, Alex and Aubrey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martha's Church (2595 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
