We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2023, at the age of 90, Maria Lourdes Lopes (East Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Guilherme P. Lopes; her parents, Jose De Melo and Idalina; and her brothers, Luis Melo and Eugenio Melo.

She is survived by: her children, Maria G. Rodrigues (Duarte), Luisa DeBarros (Mario) of Seekonk, Jose Manuel Lopes (Lisa) of East Providence and Nelia De Lima (Pedro) of East Providence. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, her family and friends.
