It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Estrela (Quintanilha) Brum of East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Manuel Matias Brum; her parents, Francisco and Conceicao Quintanilha (Ribeiro); her children, Maria Estrela Branco (Antonio) of Swansea, Regina Figueiredo (Luis) of East Providence and Emanuel Brum of Colorado; and her siblings, Anjos Ribeiro of Sao Miguel, Azores, Amelia Pimentel, Teresa Sardinha, Artur, Mariano, Abel and Manuel Quintanilha. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial Masses and donations are greatly appreciated to St. Francis Xavier Church.
