We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, Margaret Mary Clavin of East Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Anna Anderson (Sadlier); her husband John Edmund Clavin Sr.; her son John Edmund Clavin, Jr.; and her brother John Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Clavin of Cumberland, Colleen McMichael (Peter) of Cumberland and Jean Sjostedt (Andrew) of Chepachet; her daughter-in-law Maria Vingi Bedrosian; her siblings, Anne Maher of New Hampshire and Robert Anderson of Alabama; and her cousins, Marion Collins, Margaret Traverso and Jeanne Giblin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a donation to contribute to the purchase of "pet therapy cats" specifically designed for people with dementia.
