He was predeceased by: his father Jose F. DeSimas. He is survived by: his mother Guilhermina DeSimas (Goulart); his daughter Anna DeSimas of East Providence; his siblings, Joe Simas (Michele) of Swansea and Helen Carvalho (David) of Fall River; his nephews, Christopher Carvalho, Matthew Carvalho and Greyson DeSimas; and his niece McKenzie DeSimas.
