He was predeceased by: his parent Manuel Inacio; and his sibling Gloria Sousa Branco. He is survived by: his spouse Maria C. Teixeira (Cabral); his parent Maria; his sons, Joseph M. Teixeira of East Providence and Pedro A. Teixeira of Providence; his grandson Eric M. Teixeira; his siblings, Lurdes Sousa Teixeira, Joao Sousa Teixeira, Antonio Armando Teixeira and Carlos Alberto Teixeira; and also Carmo Teixeira (Sousa).
