He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Moniz and Celia Moniz (Delaney); and his siblings, Joseph and Katherine Mello. He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne Celia Hall (Stephen) and Michelle Catherine Dotzenrod (Jayson) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Ian, Chloe, Brendan Hall, Annika and Charles Dotzenrod; and his brother Edward Moniz.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either; St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.
