He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Linhares and Mary Linhares (Pimental). He is survived by: his wife Nancy P. Harris (Perry); and his children, Karen Sorrentino of Deerfield, MA, Robin Linhares of Cranston and Steven Linhares of Cranston. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
