She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Joy; and her parents, Jeremiah McCarthy and Ellen McCarthy (Mahoney). She is survived by: her children, Patrick J. Joy (Rosemary) of Nebraska, Julia G. Herrington of Texas, James B. Joy of New Hampshire and Eileen T. Botelho (Anthony J.) of Seekonk. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
