Mullen (East Providence, Rhode Island), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Mullen Sr. and Alice Mullen (Warren); and his son Patrick Gregorek (Beth). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Mullen (Egan); his siblings, Robert Mullen (Lila) and Geraldine Triangolo (late Alfred); his children, Joann Barao (Gil), Susan Hogan (Michael), Michael Mullen (Cheryl), Christine Gregorek (John), Timothy Mullen (Carolyn), David Mullen (Cindy) and Kara Salit (David); his grandchildren, Travis (Kayla), Nick and Drew Barao; his children, Mickey (Kristin), Jack Hogan (Gillian), Caroline Degnan (Ryan), Ryan (Ali), Sarah Mullen, Rachel, Johnny (Amy), Jesse Mullen, Kate Holme (Zach), Brendan (Tori), Kevin Mullen, Jenny Levenstein (Arin), Timmy, Matty (Peyton), Brian Salit, Adam and Maggie Mullen; his great grandchildren, Emily, James and Gabby Barao; and his grandchildren, Teddy, Russ Hogan, Fiona, Gwen, Maeve, Ryan Degnan, Esmé Holme and Maggie Levenstein.

“I remember when Tim and I first moved to Rehoboth and OLMC was going to be our parish. I noticed an elderly couple sitting near the front who put a smile on my face. Joe and Charlene were the cutest couple! It was always a heartfelt hello whenever we bumped into each other. Kindness and love followed them wherever they went. I will remember Joe this way.
