He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Nancy Braga (Francisco) and Stacy Borges (David Correia); his granddaughters, Victoria, Aryana and Mila; and his siblings, Maria Couto, Elvira Canejo, Dolores Cardoso, Eduarda Medina, John Borges of Rhode Island, Duarte Borges and Manuel Borges.

In lieu of flowers, an act of giving can be made in his memory.
